Yes you can delete but will it continue to record if you change apps?

So far the app seems to work fine. I have had no problems deleting past files by swiping the file to the right and clicking the delete button. However, My question is if I start the camera thing and then in the meantime go to my music app to start my tunes, or my GPS, will the cam continued to record if there is an incident?
